I went to apple and system and then to network and the vpn does not show. It does show that the following are not connected—Bluetooth PAN, Ethernet, FireWire, Thunde…it Bridge. The only thing connected is the wi-Fi. No matter what I do it comes up in dutch and/or it says they cannot connect to someone in the European Union. I am in Pinellas Park, Florida. What do I do now?
It does not show and VPN’s. Only shows my Wi-Fi is connected. Now how do I turn off VPN?
Hey Robert, you can try disabling the VPN from the menu bar. It is a bit tedious process to follow but it should work.
Here’s what you can try:
-Go to ‘System Preferences’ and then the ‘Network window’.
-You should see your VPN connection on the left-hand side. Just click on it.
-Now checkmark the option that says ‘Show VPN status in menu bar’.
Now from your menu bar, you should be able to turn on or off your VPN connection. You should see two options like:
Disconnect [name of your VPN connection]
Connect [name of your VPN connection]
